Assistant General Manager
Position Overview: The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of studio operations, including sales, customer service, staff management, and facility maintenance. This individual will play a key role in ensuring a high level of member satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management:
    • Assist the General Manager in daily studio operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and inventory management.
    • Ensure the studio is clean, well-maintained, and fully operational at all times.
    • Oversee front desk operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient check-in/out processes.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Support the General Manager in developing and executing strategies to drive membership sales and revenue growth.
    • Lead by example in promoting and selling memberships, class packages, and retail products.
    • Analyze sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Staff Supervision and Development:
    • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and managing front desk staff, instructors, and other team members.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff.
    • Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
  • Customer Service:
    • Address member inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Build strong relationships with members, fostering a welcoming and supportive community.
    • Ensure all members have a positive and engaging experience at Rumble Boxing.
  • Event and Program Coordination:
    • Assist in planning and executing studio events, special promotions, and community outreach activities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and programs to the local community.
    • Monitor and evaluate the success of events and programs, providing feedback for future improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
  • Confident in generating personal sales and supervising Sales Reps
  • Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Must have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
  • Must be solution-based and results-oriented, competitive spirit
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
  • An affinity and passion for fitness
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat, and organized
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public
  • Proficiency with computers and Studio software
  • College Degree Preferred
  • *This is a full-time position. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule with nights and weekend availability.
